End of August 2014, notebook donation event was held both in Hochiminh and Hanoi. This is the meaningful event to support the pupils who living in difficult circumstance for the upcoming school year. Notebooks were designed by Obayashi Vietnam and prepared carefully before giving to pupils. The image on the notebook’s cover is about the idea of building a space elevator reaching into space without a rocket. And now, Obayashi Corporation is performing investigation activities from various angles in order to make it come true. So, the children can study that there’s nothing impossible if we keep learning and improving.
When joining the journey of delivering notebook, we realized that there are more difficult situations in life than we thought. Looking their happy and eager faces, having warm conversations with them, we wonder what do they think and do to overcome the difficulties in current life, as well as to become strongly in the future? We don’t think much about the presents we bring, the value of visiting is much bigger than what we felt. We come and bring the message of a better life, no teaching, theory or pity. We share with them the orientation for the future, the examples getting better in life and come towards the future. They share with us the bright smiles, energetic, optimist behavior in their daily life.
In my opinion, we had successful charity event which create good impacts in social activities of our company. This has been a truly memorable experience. We are looking forward to participating in much more meaningful social activities like this.
